Margarine exhibit at the Royal Easter Show – Photo of the day
Margarine exhibit at the Royal Easter Show
This elaborate promotional exhibit for The Australian Margarine Manufacturers Association at the Sydney Royal Easter Show was designed by Rousel Studios and photographed by Broughton & Ward Studios around 1930. The exhibit incorporates an interesting modernist interpretation of the allegorical figure of Blind Justice.
From its inception, the primary purpose of the Show was to encourage agriculture. Displays of rural produce and products are still an essential part of the event.
